Visiora Consulting was established to offer organisations direct access to specialised consulting expertise without the overhead and distance of a large consulting structure. Clients work with the consultant who performs the analysis and presents the recommendations.
The focus is deliberately narrow: cost control, budgeting and forecasting, overhead allocation, personnel cost planning, and management reporting. These are the areas where measurable value tends to be gained or lost, and where independent scrutiny is most useful.
Our approach is analytical and practical. Recommendations are grounded in the client's own data, expressed in terms management can act on, and designed to remain workable once the engagement concludes.

Cost control & financial planning — commodity trading and financial services
Nine years in management accounting in Geneva, across private banking and energy trading. Two specialisms, both at group level: consolidated payroll cost planning, and overhead allocation down to desk and trader profitability.
Group-level personnel cost planning
Annual budget and quarterly forecasts for group payroll — roughly 85% of the bank's total cost base. Headcount monitoring, actual-versus-budget variance analysis, and presentation of the consolidated budget to the CEO. Built the internal budget, forecast and closing processes from scratch.
Overhead allocation & desk profitability
Rebuilt the cost allocation process to produce fully loaded overhead cost per trader and per desk. Created the budget process and the monthly management reporting pack. Month-end close including FX revaluation, intercompany loan interest, and account reconciliation.
